    All Diamond STEM workshops are offered free or at no cost to participants. We are a federally registered Canadian nonprofit and our programs are supported through volunteer contributions, community partnerships (such as libraries), and self-funding by our founders.

  • Our workshops are open to:

    • Newcomers and immigrants
    • Adults seeking employment or self-employment skills
    • Families and children (for STEM & creative learning sessions)
    • Community members navigating life transitions

    All English levels and backgrounds are welcome.

  • 3. Do I need to register in advance?

    Yes, registration is recommended as space is limited — especially for in-person library sessions.
    Some virtual workshops may allow drop-ins, but signing up ensures you receive the session link and updates.

  • Our workshops are community-hosted and mobile.

    We partner with libraries and community spaces across the Greater Toronto Area to reduce barriers to access.

  • 6. Are these professional training or certification programs?

    No.

    Diamond STEM does not provide professional licensing or job certification.

    We focus on:

    Our goal is to support people in navigating education, employment, and life transitions more successfully.

  • Most workshops are delivered in English, with cultural sensitivity and occasional bilingual support (including Farsi) when needed to help newcomers feel comfortable and included.

  • 9. How often do you run workshops?

    We run workshops regularly throughout the year, depending on:

    • Community demand
    • Library space availability
    • Volunteer facilitators
