Canada is facing a Bi-Directional Workplace

Canada is facing a ✨ Bi-Directional Workplace–Client Violence Ecosystem — a system that harms both newcomers and the professionals who try to help them.

A week ago, I wrote that “God is dead” — not in a religious sense, but in the Nietzschean meaning; 👉🏻the moment people (newcomers) lose trust in the systems meant to protect them.

💎 Today, after reading a post by, I realized this collapse of trust is bi-directional.

It reminds me of Munch’s The Scream:
a figure on a bridge, overwhelmed by forces coming from every direction.

Immigration lawyers are becoming the primary targets. They stand in the middle — and absorb hits from both sides.

The more reputable the lawyer, the stronger the pressure.

- For newcomers, this shows up as fear and broken trust.
- For lawyers, it becomes exhaustion and moral injury.
- For the system, it remains silent.
